New four-axle tank cars have arrived at Modellgyár. This time we’ve finished the brake platform equipped models of two MÁV Zakks tank cars. The wagons await you in genuine colours, with two kinds of running numbers, each with matching lettering.

The cars were made by modifying an H0 scaled, brake platform equipped Piko base model. We paid extra attention to the paintwork’s and lettering’s details. The models are the replicas of the tank cars no. 31 55 790 5 000-8 and no. 31 55 790 5 003-2.

The modification process:

The Piko base model is structurally similar to MÁV’s cars, so our tasks were narrowed down to the application of realistic paintwork and lettering. As you can see on the pictures, we accomplished our project accurately.
