The MÁV Zaekk tank car is a modified version of a Piko model equipped with a brakeman’s cab. During the making of the model we tried to resemble the original MÁV car as precisely as possible. The model is in every detail the H0 scaled replica of the no. 31 55 774 3 015-2 Zaekk car.

Steps of the car’s modification:

Because the Piko base model serving as the basis of the tank car matches the MÁV Zaekk car in structure, we only had to pay attention to the authentic paintwork and the pin-sharp, geniune tampered labels.
