Description
MÁV acquired it’s B 59-41 couchette cars from (then located in the GDR) Waggonbau Bautzen in 1978, 30 were bought, but most of them are out of service today. The couchette cars were used on long distance trains, so the cars travelled across most of the Organization for Cooperation of Railways (OSJD) member countries. The cars’ speed limit is 140 km/h. The car is based on a Tillig model, with tampered labels and colouring matching the factory models. The car can be attached to a train consisting of factory made models.
