Kárpát Vasút’s no. 459 022 NOHAB engine is complete! It rolled in with colours from the 2015-2017 era and tampered labels.

Kárpát Vasút’s NOHAB engine is a modified version of a H0 scale Roco base model. During the making of the engine, we paid attention to even the slightest details, everything is shaped to represent the original vehicle.

While making the model, we especially cared for the contrast between the Roco base model and Kárpát Vasút Kft’s engine. The main differences occured between the cab’s details, the paintwork and the labels.

Details of the modification:

  • Forming the step slots on the body
  • Building the imitation of red lights
  • Removal of handrails
  • Formation of new handrails on the edge of the roof, on the  front of the engine and above the lights
  • Painting the body
  • Preparation of the tampographed labels
  • Installation of etched mirrors
  • Installation of 3D printed horns
