New models of the M62 Szergej are finished, this time with early, IV. era red starred blood orange-yellow paintwork. The engines are available with two running numbers. The two models do not only differ from each other in their running numbers, engine no. M62-052 got a dark grey, while engine no. M62-105 got a light grey paintwork.
The blood orange-yellow paintwork was introduced in the ’80s, and to this day it remained the color scheme of most of the Szergejs. The red starred lettering on the front of the engine is a feature of the era, the stars have since been repainted black. Both models have bigger running numbers, therefore ribs also appear on the sides of the cab.
The modification:
We shape the engines from H0 sized Gützold or Roco models. These base models match the Szergejs structure, so our job was to paint and label them as accurately as possible.
