Description
MÁV acquired it’s B 19-80 first class passanger cars from (then located in the GDR) Waggonbau Bautzen in 1981, 20 were bought, most of them are still in service today. The cars were used on long distance trains, so the cars travelled across most of the Organization for Cooperation of Railways (OSJD) member countries. The cars’ speed limit is 140 km/h. The doors are painted orange for the safety of the passengers. The car is based on a Tillig model, with tampered labels and colouring matching the factory models. The car can be attached to a train consisting of factory made models.
